STORYLINE:
The movie “Poovan” is based on a slice-of-life comedy and drama genre story. A young man “Hari” suffers from sleeplessness and is incessantly disturbed by a new rooster in his neighborhood. The film narrates the incidents that happen in a year, with Hari and his family after the arrival of the rooster. For example, Hari’s sister Veena is in love with a young man Kannan which Hari disapproves of, and elopes with him. These events worsen his sleeplessness and lead him to a state of insomnia.
