ABOUT MOVIE:
Das Ka Dhamki is a Telugu-language action, comedy and drama thriller which will soon be available on the OTT platform. The movie was produced on a budget of 30 crores. It has been able to earn more than 12 crores at the box office since its premiere on 17 March 2023.
STORYLINE:
In this Telugu-language movie, we are introduced to the character Krishna Das, a young waiter at a posh hotel named Eestin, located in Hyderabad. His aspiration is to have a lavish lifestyle. He fabricates and adopts a fake persona of Keerthi, a guest at the hotel who subsequently develops an affection for him.
When the veracity of this situation reveals itself, he gets dismissed from his job. An astounding discovery is presented that Krishna has an exact doppelganger named Sanjay Rudra – a wealthier and philanthropic version of Krishna. Unfortunately, Sanjay perishes prematurely, leaving Krishna to assume the identity of his lookalike.
Krishna soon uncovers Sanjay’s sinister truths, forcing him to walk a narrow bridge of deception, out of necessity to ensure that he and his loved one live on. The story then ends with a cliffhanger with an indication of a sequel in years to come.
