Covid-19 has hit us so hard that it has a conspicuous mark on every aspect we deal with. How can the entertainment industry stay out of it? We are going to get more relatable content to the topic and it is just the beginning. That is why we must give you an honest The Gone Game review.

This is why lockdown, pandemic, and viral infection themed films and series are getting released and many are in the pipeline. Human creativity must tell stories in a real and compelling way for us to expose ourselves to different perspectives and ideas related to one of the worst calamities of the present era.

The Gone Game Review

We are living in an uncertain time. Despite knowing much about the virus we don’t know enough yet. Even the centenarians are beating the virus in some parts of the world and somewhere the budding youth is succumbing to the deadly virus. What do we know? For sure the only consensus is we need to find out more.

Yet, on the other hand, there are a lot of positive developments. Most of the people are recovering, some are talking about herd immunity and few hope for a vaccine. The web series of The Gone Game appears a timely production to make us think more about what is currently happening in our surroundings and in the world.

The series shows us how limited options are available to people in solitary confinement. No matter how big the house we live in, it starts to look smaller and smaller, the walls coming in on us to strangle. Even those in love with solitude need the space to move around and the situation is worse for those with opposite tendencies.

Another aspect that the Gone Game takes our attention to is that as we turned to our houses in the wake of the pandemic, the digital devices have become our best friends. Or should we say, the devices are imprisoning us, sucking us into themselves. Already in a post-pandemic scenario our heads were hooked to them.

The Gone Game Trailer

The characters in the Gone Game portray this imprisonment lucidly as they face their devices to meet each other on the internet platforms. We realize how incapacitated our existence has become with the limitation of the moment.

We are failing to observe and react to our surroundings, a skill crucial for sustaining human life and keeping the mind sane. The now and then instances of these conscious beats are focused on the mirrors on our tables, in our pockets, and in our hands that light up and take our senses away.

Our real-life existence has become a journey of virtual experiences only deride of the observance of the natural, the real.

Final Words

In our Gone Game Cast review, these are the final words. Based on the thriller genre, it gives the most one would ask for. You will be hooked to the screen in the anticipation of what is to come next. At the same time, there are some mistakes too e.g. the attendant’s disregard the SOPs for someone attending a positive patient.

Some may also feel the show concluded hurriedly and should have given more frames to make the plots clear. In spite of these flaws, the series is better than the trite and worn out production and you will not regret watching it.
